James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

The other post is in L&M Resources which isn't visited by everyone on a regular basis.

Be honest you didn't look did you?

So now we have the same post in the London and Middlesex Board and the London and Middlesex Resources Board because not everyone uses the latter board on a regular basis. Well using that logic not everyone uses this board on a regular basis either so which other boards are you going to add it to, or are you going stop digging and just leave it there?

That's a bit strong, I hope its just tongue in cheek?

Its not difficult to miss posts and I view the Unread Posts and not just individual boards.  I didn't see the other post until last night and it was posted Friday, yet it will have shown up in Unread Posts before then and I'm on RC quite a lot.
