Can anyone help with service record information on the above named who served in North Africa with the Rhodesian Army during WW2. Rhodesian Armoured Car Corps. I am afraid that I do not know his service number.

If someone can point me in the right direction that would be a great help

regards

dinkey

For personnel serving after 1920, all service records are still with the MOD.

See: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JQHL-SJM
https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records

You will need his death certificate (assuming he has died?).
And the fee is £30.

These records are not available anywhere else! ;D

Thank you for the information regarding service records with MOD.

I don't understand the link you provided to familysearch. Record  Anna Mc Queeney
Residence Place    South Shields, Durham, England
Gender    Female
Christening Date    22 May 1875

The Frederick John Barrett I am researching was the son of Frederick John Barrett and Margaret Scott Weldon

kind regards

dinkey

Apologies!
I did a copy-and-paste of the correct URL (or at least, I thought I did!), but obviously something went wrong, and I didn't check. :-[

I have corrected the URL on my original post, but here it is again:
