From FreeBMD - June quarter 1931 - Bicester Registration District

Timothy P Wilkins - mother's maiden name is Godfrey
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Timothy's birth certificate would give the full answer, but two possibilities - again from FreeBMD

June quarter 1920 - Bristol Registration District
George H Wilkins and Ivy M Godfrey

June quarter 1924 - Keynsham Registration District
Thomas Wilkins and Beatrice M E Godfrey
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Those marriages may possibly be too late.  :-\

Other birth registrations in Bicester Registration District with mother's maiden name of Godfrey:

Verena M - December 1919
Raymond W - March 1922
Dorothy M - December 1924
Peter T - December 1927

Added:

Another birth registration - Laura M A  - September 1932

It looks like the parents were a William T (Thomas) Wilkins who married Gertrude H (Hilda) Godfrey in Sept.qtr.1917 Derby - GRO index transcription show Gertrude 'R' but initial blurred and should read 'H'.

William Thomas Wilkins born 24/11/1894 died Mar.qtr. 1980 Ploughey, Oxfordshire
Gertrude Hilda Wilkins born 15/10/1898 died June qtr. 1980 North Bucks.

Since deaths just a quarter apart would hazard a guess that Gertrude's may possibly have been in a hospital or perhaps she lived with family after husband's death which would explain the different registration districts.   Birth index shows Gertrude Hilda Godfrey Dec.qtr.1898 Bicester. and William Thomas Wilkins Mar.qtr.1895 Bicester.   Guessing marriage in Derby could be because of WW1.

William Thomas Wilkins on census is born at Blackthorn, son of Arthur Wilkins and wife Annie Elizabeth so is this the family you are trying to connect to?

I think you are correct, Annette.  1939 Register entry confirms those dates, with only one child viewable.
