The CWGC site is a good base to start from:

https://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/811944/seed,-james/

Ancestry often has free access to service records over the Remembrance Weekend in November.   ;)

James Seed died on the 7th. July not the 6th. His Gratuity list states he died on or since 6-9th. July.
His Batt. moved up to the front line at 2 am. of the 7th. July in reserve of the main force. They went out at 8 am. as part of the 2nd. wave.
He was at La-Boiselle N.E. of Albert.
He was one of 20 who were killed, most from shelling.
