Hi all the birth of a Frederick Horace Smith March qtr 1903 Edmonton mmn West, leads to an interesting marriage to a John Richards of an Ada L Smith in 1925?

You are a star,Kay. Just checked with my friend and "Richards" is the name of the man she was a housekeeper to. It's beginning to look like Sydney was illegitimate and maybe Ada told him his father?, Horace, had died just before he was born which could be why he put him on his marriage cert.
At least it looks like we are on the right track. Where did you find the marriage of Ada and John Richards, please?
