Winifred and George can be seen on the US 1930 and 1940 census.
The 1940 census is interesting ...........

Louisa King born 1858 and aged 65 years appeared on a border crossing Canada to the USA -arriving Buffalo New York July 1923 -  last permanent address Leamington Ontario - name and address of nearest relative in country from whence came was Alfred - destination Schenectady. New York.

Winifred Helen King married George William Stodgell 31 July 1916 - Essex Ontario - Caroline King and Dorothy Butt were witnesses.

Reply 40 refers - Obituary - STODGELL, Elizabeth R. LESSON - SCHAGHTICOKE - Elizabeth R. LESSON STODGELL of Chestnut Street died Friday [30 March 1990] at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a long illness. Mrs. Stodgell was born [13 September 1920] and educated in Schaghticoke. She retired in 1984 after more than 25 years as a cook for the Hoosic Valley Central School District. She previously was an assistant postal clerk for the US Postal Service branch in Schaghticoke. Mrs. Stodgell was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and a member of the church Altar Rosary Society....................etc etc

son Robert Alfred King 1924–1977 - passed away 18 OCT 1977 - Windsor, Ontario.
Robert married to Eileen Alice Beard - couple had a son Richard King - 13 November 1953 Windsor Ontario -  5 August 2009
