Thank you Sandra- I had not considered that. What is the date please of the sailing that you have given. Really appreciate all your help as this is a tricky web to untangle.

One to discount - Canadian Passenger List - troops returning to Canada - Sgt William Sinton  (no age given) - from Witley Owen Camp Surrey and travelling Southampton to Halifax Nova Scotia -  arriving 14 September 1919 on the Minnekahda. Regt -15 Bn   Unit 55 Bn - next of kin father - place of residence Ruxton NB

A middle name has never been mentioned -- perhaps another to discount  ??? Troops returning -
William R Sinton arriving 2 July 1919 - Liverpool to Halifax Nova Scotia - Regt CASC Unit CASC 195 th - next of kin mother - no residence/no age.

;D looked at so many passenger lists and combinations of name - momentarily forgot "Henry"

Haha completely understandable!!!!!

Short of actually ordering the birth cert for his daughter Eunice Sinton, I have narrowed her birth down to being between 11th Feb 1921 and 13th May 1921- in UK.

Is there any way i can find the exact DOB? I have checked BMD but they only go as far as 1916.

Many thanks

It is such a priviledge to be looking into this family as both william's father and uncle were both Chelsea pensioners too :)
