Christchurch, Hampshire and Poole, Dorset are roughly 15 miles apart - so not that far  :-\

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I was born in Christchurch :) :) xx

It still seems odd that he was buried in Poole but I will dig deeper.

Thank you so very much! So I have a Chelsea pensioner in the tree!!! I thought I could see Lily Sinton (b 1878) in Chelsea in 1901- I wonder if this is connected in any way.

Do you want the full details of her marriage or are you able to view the details yourself?

That does appear to be Lily on 1901 census in the same household is
Emily L Way both servants and she was one of the witnesses to Lily's marriage in 1906

1901 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X9HH-N62

Edit

We were posting at the same time  :)
