Why this Error message?

Can you please explain why I get Error occurred and then Oops, it looks like you have reached your posting limit, when creating a new topic

I am guessing it is because you keep posting in the Beginners section with now over 140 posts.

I'm also getting this error message, when I attempt to start a new topic:

Oops you appear to have reached your posting limit

I've made 29 posts so far most of which have been in the handwriting section.  I can only assume there is a limit on the number of posts you can make in a set period.  Whilst this may stop spam posts which is fair enough, I can't see why it's stopping me from creating an addtitional topic.

Couldn't find anything in the help pages other than this topic so I'm having to reply.

Although you have made only 29 topics, you have made a lot of requests within your topics in the handwriting section which is where we have put a limit of how many posts you can request in a day.

Thank you Sarah.  I thought it must be something like that.  How many am I allowed? Is it limited for one Forum EG Handwriting or does it cover all Forums, so if I reach my daily limit on the Handwriting Forum I can't post elsewhere?

I tried to split my requests into different topics rather than create a long thread, or post overly large slabs of handwriting.  However the limit stopped me from starting a new topic but not extending the existing thread.

Sorry if I've offended Forum etiquette.  I have one more request to make on the handwriting topic and then I'll leave it.
