Have just had some great finds oline....a marriage and several baptisms from 1838 to 1849 but the only RC church that I can find a record of is St James which was built in 1887.  Can anyone help me please?

St.James is on the site of an older church

This map dates from 1829 to 1841
the 25" 1897 to 1913 shows how the church changed

Unless the records you found give the peoples address as Killorglin bare in mind the size of the parish, they may have been more than one church

Thank you very much for the links.  The address on the baptism records is Dromin or Drummin but I can't see any mention of that....do you have any idea where that may be?

There is a Dromin to the east of Killorglin.  Zoom in on map on the link given.

Using the links from the NLI parish registers to Irish Ancestors and on there the places in Killorglin RC Parish
Dromin is listed
https://www.johngrenham.com/c_parish/c_parish_main.php?civilparishid=1095&county=&civilparish=Aghadoe
and than go back to the mapviewer and search for Dromin and you can see as conahy calling said it is a little to the east of the town, so Killorglin would be the nearest church.
