Unknown Family (Cheshire?)
« on: Saturday 30 September 17 19:38 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I've gone through ALOT of my great Nana's photographs today.

They are very old! These unfortunately have no names/notes to indicate who they could be. But I'm pretty certain they have got to be apart of the family, some have more than one photo in the album but they are all in some kind of uniform!?

My family are mainly from Cheshire, hopefully someone might recognize a face that they've seen before :).

Probably little help but they are all Second World War vintage, numbers two and three are a Gunner and a Lance Bombardier respectively in the Royal Artillery.  The last man has three stripes which, if he  is a later version of No 2 (which looks likely) then he is a Lance Sergeant.  The first has a horizontal stripe the significance of which escapes me at the moment and no identifiable regimental markings.

Good luck!

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
