Charles Wakes buried  and Lily Wakes were both buried on 17th May 1890 in Philips Park Cemetery Grave 1637

May Wakes was buried on 16th June 1900 in Philips Park Cemetery Grave 1797

Using GRO

1869 Sarah Ann Wakes mmn Greenhalgh
1849 Alice
1851 Betty
1856 George
1858 John
1864 Mary

If you go to www.lancashirebmd.org.uk and put surname Wakes and mother's maiden name Greenhalgh you should get some matches from 1849 onwards  in Bury
 
If you then look at the marriages, it looks like  George and Ann married in 1848

Yes it looks like George and Ann were married at st Mary’s church Bury 1948,George’s parents were William and Betty
