Birth Of A Jane Mcfarlane.

As I'm very reluctant to enter "birthyear unknown" when adding people to my family tree,I'm looking for a birthyear for a Jane Mcfarlane who married my relative Joseph Whitley in what is given on Staffordshire BMD as a Civil Marriage(Wolstanton) in 1919.

Its slightly complicated by the fact that Joseph died in 1938,so she may well have re-married.

I don't think she remarried.  She is on the 1939 Register as Jean - 26 September 1897.

It appears she was born in Scotland,there being at least five with that name born in Scotland in 1897.
