You have a Frederick or Walter Grove Hull GP in Australia and an Arthur Grove Hull going to SA

What is the connection between these people - Brothers or father and son etc etc

I am really confused. I have records:
W G Hull Lieutenant, Acting Major Gazette Date:18/05/1917
And
Walter Grove Hull Temporary Captain, Acting Major Gazette Date: 28/12/1917
These could be the same person?

The 1940 death for Walter Hull shows him as 82 so born 1857/58.  There are 2 births on freebmd in 1857 and neither have a middle name.  The 1940 death and his will make no mention of a middle name either

........ I have records of Walter in the Royal Artillery during WW1.

floggle toggle

Walter would have been in his late 50's when WW1 started.  Walter Grove HULL was his nephew.

I can't see the marriage registration.  :-\

This 1889 article states that Dr Walter Hulle was the ex travelling Dr for the Earl of Dudley, 2nd last column:

I suggest you search TROVE http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/ yourself using "dr walter hull".    He was noted a couple of times as Dr Walter John HULL.

Edit  his name is also noted as HULLE.
