I currently have a one month subscription for £12.95 which gives access to the 1939 Register.

I think you'll find you have access to the Indexes - same as I do, and I don't pay a subscription!
But you won't be able to unlock a household to see details.

During my current monthly subscription, I have been able to unlock the details for eight households. Perhaps that is a mistake by FindMyPast which I should keep quiet about.

According to their fb page, a few lucky people have been allowed access to the 1939 register with a monthly sub, it's a trial feature, they are looking at package options.

I use the local library for research, it's free and keeps the library open, use it or lose it
