I feel I should add the following to his convict profile:

He had two co-defendants at his trial in 1851, 52 year old Amelia Pearce (10 years transportation) and 14 year old Benjamin Lacey (7years transportation).   Ameilia Pearce died in Millbank Prison of Bronchitis in 1853 and Benjamin Lacey, also released early from Parkhurst Prison, removed to London, married three times had 8 children, 7 of them step-children, and died when he was aged 50??

Philip and Harriet Bartlett were enumerated as 50 and 45 in 1841, but 70 and 65 in 1851.

Based on the latter ages, they seem likely to be the Philip Bartlett and Harriet Mudford who married at East Coker, Somerset on 5 May 1800.

Children (there must be more in the gaps):

Maria, baptised 12 Oct 1800 East Coker
Caroline c 1825?
Harriet, baptised 23 Dec 1832 St James, Bath
Anne, baptised 15 Jun 1833 St James, Bath
