AmDoes anyone hold burial Records for
 Machpelah cemetery Deiniolen?

i need to find if my grandfather x5 is buried there.

Robert Williams Buried in Feb 1838?

Are you sure of the date? The first burials were in the 1840s.

What address do you have?

hi gwil,  yes i am 100% with the Date.

i cant seem to find his burial Anywhere
i thought that maybe he would be buried in deiniolen,  as he was a Methodist "Blaenwr" in Tan y maes ,  llanfair is gaer. 
but i thought that deiniolen was a burial location for methodists?

Macpellah was a burial ground for about 11 chapels in the upper half of Llanddeiniolen parish i.e Deiniolen/Dinorwig/Brynrefail. Definitely not opened before the 1840s. No other burial ground there in that era.

i purchased hid death cert yesterday,
to confirm the death Date.

ive searched most local cemeteries.

so confused!??

Do you mean that literally i.e you have looked for a headstone (in the MIs). Maybe a look in the parish registers starting with Llanfairisgaer will turn him up.

Is he likely to have been buried in the area he was born?

I haven't access to my Hobleys Methodists books at the moment. There is a set at Caernarfon Archives. I'd be surprised if a blaenor from such an early era isn't mentioned. Might mention where buried?

i have Hobleys here in my possesion,  there is a lit mentioned of him in volume 4/llanrug.
but no mention of burial location.
or im not understanding it!!
it dors confirn the date..
