Shuck
« on: Tuesday 02 August 05 14:35 BST (UK) »
I am looking either for people named Shuck or with this name in their family.

I have found out that the name Shuck is local to Worcester which is where my family all come from (I moved away about a year ago).

Shuck is relatively common is USA but this form of the name is an anglicized (or should that be Americanised?) form of the German name Shook. For this reason, I only need to contact UK people or people living outside of the UK who know that their form of the name came from UK and not Germany.

Thanks in advance  ;D

You could start a thread of your own on Beginners Board and you'll probably be surprised at all the help you get  :)

I have constucted one family tree for the Shuck family and have recently found a second. Both trees begin in Bishops Frome/Castle Frome in Hereford in1757[so far] mine follows the line of one son whilst the other follows the line of his younger brother.I know there is a third centred on Worcester but if memory serves it could not be determined where this one originated.

Hi Rajeck,
I have a great interest in your search of shuck's.
It appears we are of the same shuck line.
My line comes from the same area! can we make contact to further our search?
my conections are maternal line.
Sorry for taking so long to contact.
