I've been studying the Shea births on NSWBDM with folks Denis/Dennis and Mary. There are 2 Denis and Mary having children in the Grafton area.

I've found the death for burial place for Denis who died in 1902. He is buried with:

17534/1921 SHEA Mary  (-VAUGHAN) 85 YEARS NEWCASTLE NEWCASTLE

It gives Mary a birth year of 1836.

Denis was born in 1877 and then the next birth is James S in 1885. Mary would have been 49 years of age at time of birth, if she is the mother of James.

Sarah is also at Sandgate: Catholic_1 05 130
