Where  could I contact for search and copy of Lancashire birth record 1877/81. Thanks to all my Roots Chat friends who have always been of great help to me

If you are asking for a copy of the actual birth cert - that is only available by purchase from the GRO.  Members of the public do not have access to birth certs.

You can use the links given by Rosie to search for the reference which would enable you to buy a copy

That is true but the cost of a birth certificate ordering through the links given by them cost £10, the GRO is £9.25.  I would normally suggest using the GRO. 

Sometimes when ordering a marriage certificate from the local registrars means you get a copy of the original parish register entry whereas the GRO only send a transcribed copy ie you don't get original signatures.
