If you would like a restore doing on this, I think it would make a good pic with a higher resolution scan. I've had a couple of mins on it to lighten it up.

Because the young fellow looks so much like an Al Capone wannabe I'll have to have a guess and say early 1930s - but the experts will be along later to date it properly.
