Did James William Williams junior marry Mary Ann Baker in 1840?

Looked on the IGI, there is a ancestral file naming James William Williams born 1789, married to a Mary Williams.    Did find another James Williams b 1789 but born in Kent.

My Mother's family were Williams, farmers living in the Olveston/Almondsbury areas.

Hi, I am a descendant of James Baker Williams, brother of John Alfred.
I traced my father , his father, his father, etc. Back to James William Williams snr (born 1789.)
Have been told that our name is Welsh, however I have not found the connection. Do you have any family history dating prior to 1789?
