Translation of marriage bonds written in Latin
« on: Friday 06 October 17 13:02 BST (UK) »
I have the marriage bonds for Thomas Hall and Elizabeth Minkley for the 2nd July 1711. Half of the Bond is written in Latin and I was hoping someone would be able to translate this for me please.  I have had a poor attempt using google translate but because I am not familiar with the Latin language I have been unable to work out the spelling of the words. Thanking you in anticipation.

Let all men know by these presents that we, Thomas Hall of Cropwell Bishop in the county of Nottingham, farmer, and Andrew Baguley, farmer of Cropwell aforesaid, are held and firmly bound to the Chapter of the Collegiate Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Southwell in the county of Nottingham for one hundred pounds of good and lawful money of England, to be paid to the same Chapter or to its certain attorney; for making this very payment we do well and truly bind ourselves, and each of us for himself, for the whole and undivided amount; (and we bind) our heirs, executors and administrators, and those of each us, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals. Given the second day of the month of July in the tenth year of the reign of Our Lady Anne, by the grace of God Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, and in the year of the Lord 1711.
