Susan Wing Mildenhall
« on: Saturday 07 October 17 07:54 BST (UK) »
Hi I'm researching Susan Wing, born Mildenhall around 1807 according to a later census (1861 when she was married to a John Scrase in Hackney).  She married him in  1/12/1842 in Saint Bride Fleet St ,London her name given as Susan Wing.  They had 2 children Mary Ann and William, both born in Hackney Union (workhouse).

I haven't been able to find a Susan Wing born in Mildenhall at around that time so wondering if she married a Wing.  Have found 4 children with parents Susan and Charles Wing all born Mildenhall - between 1820 and 1831 (Family Search), but no luck finding a marriage.

If anyone could help with a marriage look up for Charles and Susan that would be great.  Alternatively Susan might have been born a Wing so a look up on that if the marriage doesn't pan out.

Thanks in advance
Rochelle

The entry for Susan's marriage to John Scrase in 1842 states that she was a spinster - father given as Robert Wing, farmer.

Snap, Rosie !!

Just eliminating  ;)
1841 Mildenhall has a Robert Wing age 40 with a Susan the same age with two children, they are still together in 1851.
