Allan and Ethel McLachlan

I am searching for any descendents of Allan and Ethel McLachlan nee Holt last known address 56 Port Glasgow Road, Greenock.  Both are now deceased Allan died in 1955 and Ethel died in 1957.  The only name I have  on a death certificate is  E. McLachlan their son.  Many Thanks

Allan was 69 when he died so born c 1886.  He married Ethel in 1911 so any children born to the mnarriage would probably be dead by now

The E McLachlan could be Edwin who was born 1913 and is probably the death in 1989 in Paisley

I can't find any marriage for Edwin but there were 19 McLachlan births from 1912 - 1930  in Blythswood so there may have been other children

Did either Allan or Ethel leave a will?

Buying a copy of Edwin's death cert may yield another family member depending on who reported the death

An Edward Robert D McLachlan mmn Holt died 2008 aged 83 in Inverclyde.  The only McLachlan/ Holt marriage showing on Scotlands People is the 1911 one

Margaret McLachlan or Borthwick died 2003 in Inverclyde age 87
Elizabeth McLachlan or Boyd died 2008 in Inverclyde age 77

Allan and Ethel married in 1911.  I have just purchased death certificate for Allan it states his son was Edward.  Edward lived at the same address as his parents 56 Port Glasgow Road, Greenock.
