I see where you are coming from with Archibald Taggart in Campbeltown
However, I have just looked at a map for Ardnamurchan/Acharacle  and Campbeltown is almost 150 miles south of this area.

I think I should have checked a map, too busy concentrating on the Argyll reference  ::)

He is elusive so who knows where he was at that crucial time  :-\
