Was Andrew G Henderson an architect?

Yes. He worked for Honeyman Keppie and (Rennie) Mackintosh

He worked for Charles Rennie McIntosh - wow!    That's really something!

...There is a Valuation Roll for Andrew G Henderson at Tassie Street, Eastwood, for 1905, where it gives his occupation as an Architect.       He is also at this address on the Glasgow Electoral Registers  from 1905 to 1910.      Unfortunately, only the head of the house is given on these.

However, on Scotlands People, there is the following for 1911
Census 1911  60 Kirkcaldy Road, Titwood, Pollockshields
Andrew G Henderson, 28, Architectural Draughtsman, born New Zealand
Jeanie M Henderson, 30, sister, born New Zealand

Both are unmarried.    I am pretty certain the Andrew G at Tassie St is the same one who is living at Kirkcaldy Road, because Andrew G is no longer to be found at Tassie St after 1910, and then he suddenly appears at Kirkcaldy Rd the next year.     In fact, Andrew is still at Kirkcaldy Road in 1915.

P.S.    Kirkcaldy Road and Tassie St are quite close to each other.

Thank you. I wonder what happened to his parents and brothers.

On Scotlands People, William Nisbet Henderson died at Eastwood in 1901, aged 66.   There are a couple of promising looking deaths, one of which might be Elizabeth, his wife.

Elizabeth Henderson, aged 83, died in 1929 at Kilmacolm.
Elizabeth Black Henderson, aged 54, died in 1901 at Eastwood.

Thank you. The death of Elizabeth Black Henderson looks right as the death was registered by A. Graham Henderson.

There is a William B Henderson, aged 30, on the 1911 census, living at Scotstoun & Yoker, Lanarkshire.  I suspect the B may stand for Boyd.

You have a W.B. Henderson, born 1873, on the 1891 census.  And there is a William Boyd Henderson born 1872 at Govan Church, so this looks like there is a realistic chance that this is the same person who is W.B. on the 1891 census.

There was also a Robert Smith Henderson, who, like W.B. Henderson above, was also born in   at Govan Church.     He was born in 1871.     ...I don't remember seeing the Govan Church place-name being used very often, and suspect that because of this, William Boyd Henderson and Robert Smith Henderson may be from the same family.

So it could be that Robert Smith Henderson and William Boyd Henderson are on the 1891 census as R.S. Henderson and W.B. Henderson and are brothers.

Re William B Henderson I do not think he was in Glasgow in 1911 - suggest you look at the 1911 census for England. There is also a possible death for  him in Hendon in 1915.

William

Dent (Haltwhistle and Sacriston), Bell and Jetson (Haltwhistle), Postle, Ward, Longstaff, Purvis, Manners, Parnaby and Hardy (Co. Durham), Kennedy and McRobert (Banffshire), Reid(Bathgate), Watson (Wemyss), Graham (Libberton), Sandilands (Carmichael), Munro (Dingwall)
