Is this too spotty to colour?
« on: Tuesday 10 October 17 15:05 BST (UK) »
Advice needed please.
This girl will be 90 next year and I was thinking a coloured print of this photo would make a nice present but the original is on matte paper so scans with lots of white spots, is it too spotty to colour?
I can clean it up myself and post again if it is too spotty but thought it was best to ask first, I haven't a clue how to colour photos so don't know if the spots need to be got rid of first or will be covered by the process.

I wasn't sure about asking for it in colour at all, I never expected it to affect me so much to see it in colour, I'm a bit shaken at the moment, feel like having a cry but I can't because I'm at work, I'll have to stop looking at it.
Thank you so much loord74

That's lovely japeflakes thank you so much.
I should have said her dress was white and the flower red, we have no idea what his colours were.
Japeflakes has their hair colour spot on.
I want to learn to do colour now, I never really appreciated the effect it can have.
I've been thinking about it the last couple of hours and I don't think there is a coloured photo of them until they were in their 40s and I got so used to only seeing them younger in black and white it was a bit of a shock to see them young in colour.
You have both done such a great job, I wasn't sure about this idea but now I'm convinced it would make a brilliant present.
Yesssssssssssssss
