A link to the site on google street view from 2017. The car park space on the left side of the road is where the Regal Cinema was, and the Chapel before that.
Beyond the car park but on the right side of the road you can see the council buildings, they can also be seen in the old picture of West Street I posted.

Modernisation made a right mess of that site! BUT the chapel I remember was further down on the other side of the road in West Row? before Queen Street.

As has already been said, the Zion Chapel was near Bond St, the one towards Queen St was the Primitive Methodists.

Had missed that Geoff. Thanks.There was also the Railway Mission in Fydell Crescent so the established church was under pressure.
