Perhaps it's an abbreviation of name Patrick

Did they have a daughter named Grizel? Or did she remarry 1794?

The attached map by John Thomson "Atlas of Scotland 1832"(http://maps.nls.uk/view/74400161) shows a Croft at Ballageallon on the North bank of the R.Tay, about 5 miles west of Kinnaird.  Given the similarity of many of the names in the area, and the variation in spelling over the years, it may be difficult to pin down the exact locations referred to on the marriage lines.

The first place name is Nether Ballachandie, the second I think looks more like Ballgouan than Ballyoukan. On the map below you will see that Nether Ballachandie (here spelt Ballahandy) and Balgowan (a variant spelling) are near neighbours. No sign of Croft of Balgowan but names change and buildings can disappear.

Have you looked for Grizel as Grace?
