MEIKLE David birth registration 1777 - Deciphering please

David Meikle lawfull son to David Meikle Indweller in
Landerlades? parish? and Elizabeth Hawgh was born thirty
first day of July 1777 and baptised   July before these
witnesses  Wm? Meikle and Andrew Cumminghan.

Kirkby Lonsdale, that is the kirk-town in Lonsdale

There is a Lonsdale Farm at East Kilbride, Glasgow, Scotland

Just a thought but as we are heading to the South end of Scotland it may be that the surname of 'Elisabeth Haugh' is a variant of 'HOGG'

I think David was born Thirteenth July & baptised 15th July 

If he was born 31st July he would have had to be baptised the same day & it definitely doesn't look anything like 31st for his baptism

TBH all I see now is 'of July' as if the actual day has been omitted.

Many thanks to all and I wasn't expecting such a response to my message even though I am still a in doubt! I now read:

Landerdale Haugh/parish and Elizabeth Hawgh was born thirty
first day of July 1777 and baptised of July before these
witnesses  Wm Meikle and Andrew Cumminghan.

Indweller - I did find a Mr William Meikle paying Inhabited House tax in 1779, August 21. 
1738-1798 Lauder Royalty - 1702, West Lothian parish of Abercorn. Yet to look at carriage, dog, watch, window taxes but I have spent many hours looking elsewhere!

I read:

witnesses Daniel? Meikle and Andrew Cummingham.

Still in doubt where there is a question mark after 3 these words!
Witness is not John but could it be Daniel? Mind you, no Daniels in this family.
