EVANS family Lewisham
« on: Friday 13 October 17 17:18 BST (UK) »
Good afternoon
I have two requests if anyone can help
1) Thomas Evans born 1859 baptised St Mary's Lewisham  20th March 1870
Anna (possibly Hannah) Evans born 1867 baptised St Mary's Lewisham 13th March 1870
It seems odd that they were baptised one week apart could one be an error
Parents were William & Caroline Evans
Does anyone have access to the registers ?
2) Their father William Evans seems to have died in the March quarter of 1870
Could the children have been baptised just before he died ?
Have I got the correct William Evans?
Again could anyone access the registers
Many thanks

William the father was marked as deceased on Thomas's' baptism - same address as Anna's.  Perhaps Anna could not cope with doing them both at once  ;D
