CWGC Appeal for relatives.........Pvt Ephraim Atkinson

Commonwealth Graves Commission would like to make contact with any relatives of Pvt Ephraim Atkinson born 1882 Halifax and died 25 December 1915 - Halifax Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale West Yorkshire.
Ephraim died at home aged 32 years in a delirium following double pneumonia and pleurisy brought on by injuries sustained in a German gas attack  :'(

S/N 2031, Private. 1st & 4th Battalion.
Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment.
Husband of Charlotte Atkinson of 41A Prospect Place, Ovenden, Halifax.
Son of Emma & James Atkinson.

Burial St Mary Churchyard  Illingworth Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale West Yorkshire.
Listed on the Memorial at Halifax Town Hall Books of Remembrance, and on the Memorial at Saint Mary the Virgin, Illingworth.

Ephraim was a tramway conductor. There were 4 children born to this couple. At least 3 survived -
Hilda Atkinson born 1908 - James William Atkinson born 1909 and Laura Atkinson born 1910.
