The Surname of The Bride, May the 4th 1678, Barrow Upon Humber.
« on: Saturday 14 October 17 09:53 BST (UK) »
Hello there,

I wander if anyone on here would be able to read the surname of the bride, from this image on "Lincs To The Past" please. I know that the groom's name was: "Thomas Spenser".
The bride's first name is Maria. It is on the left hand side of the page, right underneath the line that reads: "Bridyetta".

I think her surname could be "Francis", but I'm not too sure:

It is really quite rough, but if anyone has any suggestions, I would be very grateful.

Thank you very much.  :) ;)

Too faint to read anything much except their over-riding 'Lincs to the Past' ???

It's no easier to read on FindMyPast.  All the transcription has is _ SPENSER to Maria _ on the ? May 1678.
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.
