James FRIEND and Ann REDMAN Family circa 1710 Kent
« on: Saturday 14 October 17 16:13 BST (UK) »
James FRIEND and Ann REDMAN married in Canterbury 7-10-1702 at St Margarets Canterbury- no other detail known.
It is believed they had the following children.
James bapt 21-12-1702 in St Nicholas at Wade.
Mary bapt 23-11-1704 at St Nicholas at Wade.
Possibly Benett in 1709 at St Nicholas at Wade - parents not identified yet.
I am hoping to find other children in Kent, baptised with matching parents names  to investigate / consider if they are connected.
Mary is believed to have married in nearby Chislet on 23-9-1727 to Thomas LEWIS. suggesting the family remained in the area.
And other information on this family would be fantastic. I am aware of the family of Mary and Thomas Lewis being researched, but this is not specifically of interest.

It looks as if this FRIEND/FREND family can be linked with records in Westbere and Great Mongeham, but a clearer picture will emerge once all the adjacent parishes are checked rather than the isolated IGI database.
