I'm looking for my grandmother between 1925 and 1940. Her legal name was Theresa Goll born 12/16/1913 Munich Germany to Georg Goll and Anna Koberlein.  I have the passenger records showing her mother herself and sister coming to New York in 1925 scheduled to go to their final destination of mt kisco new York.  Now here's the twist... I have a 1925 new York census showing the mother and sister but no mention of her father or herself.  I can not locate either of them until 1940. My grandma sometimes went by either Tessa or Tessie (census shows Lessie) and I've tried all these variations still no luck during that 15 year span. I don't know if she went back to Germany or stayed on the health farm in mt   Kisco....Can you help me? Rumor also has it that she was sent to islip mental hospital in NY but I thought it was later in her life.

Tessie GOLL 26, Single, b Germany, Laundry Worker in Hotel
Declares in 1935, she was in Same Place (Manhattan)

For ref: The 1940 Census - in Manhattan, at 435, West 119 Street
George GOLL 56, System-------, Apt House, b Germany, Laundry Worker in Hotel
Wife: Anna M GOLL 51,  , b Germany, Presser-Underwear
Dau: Louise GOLL 28, single, b Germany,, Clerk, Building Comp
Declares in 1935, they were all in Same Place (Manhattan)

I think this is George, Anna and Louise in 1930 - no Therese.   Anna appears to have a middle initial in 1940, so Margaret may be her middle name:

Head: George GALL 46, (first married age 28), imm 1923, Carpenter at Carpentry
Wife: Margaret GALL 41, (first married age 23), imm 1925, Pleater at Dry Cleaning
Dau: Louise GALL 18, single, imm 1925, Sales Lady at Dept Store

Yes I have all those but 2hat I'm trying to find is where my grandmother and great grandfather were in 1925 and 1930. Basically  answered 1930 question but I can't locate them in mt kisco at the Byrum health camp  or in Manhattan... Any luck there? And thanks for the additional variation on the last name... I didn't catch that one... Very helpful
