Brennan/Antrim??
« on: Saturday 14 October 17 19:41 BST (UK) »
Hello All,

So I have a Mary Brennan who married a Daniel Shiels in belfast 1901. She then had two sons with him in Durham (Daniel and William), England before coming back to Ireland where they had twin daughters Bridget and Mary in 1906, and another son Arthur in 1907. Daniel died in 1907 and she remarried James Reid in 1909 Ballymena.
The marriage certificates listed her father as Neal Brennan. I am struggling to find any records for Mary other than the marriage certificates.

Any help would be much appreciated.

So you have a Mary Brennan who married a Daniel Shiels in belfast 1901....

What address is on it?

What date is on it?

Did she marry before of after Census?

They married on 4th September 1901... and I think it says chapel of St Malachy... Belfast, Antrim

It was after the 1901 census because I can find Daniel still living at the family home in Durham on that census

Sarahlou,

Hallmark asked for Mary's address on the 1901 marriage cert. You didn't provide it but I looked at the marriage cert and it's Granagh in Rasharkin parish. So here's her family in 1901:
