Lewis Bedenbecker Germany
« on: Saturday 14 October 17 23:05 BST (UK) »
I am researching a Bedenbecker family as follows

In 1850 Census in Hamilton Ohio USA
Lewis Bedenbecker a 47, Wife Mary Ann a 50
Son Joseph 18, Daughter Francesca a 18  ALL Born Germany

I have found a ship record for a L Bedenbecker Occ Glazier Arriving in Baltimore Maryland May 1840 Ship Gustav Departing from Bremen Germany. Looks like Badenburg mentioned also.

I have no idea where in Germany the family originated. On a census record in USA for Francesca she states she was born in Prussia she married a Dietrich Eggermann. Son Joseph later changed his surname to Baker.

I have all information apart from 1860 Census in USA.  I am hoping to trace their origins in Germany if possible.  Thank you
