Hi Kieran,
It might help to have some extra information if you have it, particularly if they didn't remain at that address 1900-20, or if the address is recorded in an unexpected way on Census.

What is the source of the address "1639 South Street Philadelphia" - where did you come by that information?

* How might GALLON become GALLAGHER? is this a common interchangeable name for Patrick?
* Lizzie, likely Elizabeth, McGill.
* What is Lizzie's  relationship to Patrick?
* For both of them: Age or birthdate or year (even approximate)?
* For both of them: Birth place
* For both of them: parents names (if they died or married, and parents names recorded on a record?)

Cheers

Had a couple of searches for you Kieran.  There was a Peter and Lizzie Gallagher showing but unfortunately they were not at the address you gave.

Hi all,
Thanks for all your help.  This is where I finally found the information from

Anne arrived in Philadelphia recorded as Annie McKearnon https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:SQWF-3J1C-9...

Can anyone access her Naturalization records.
She is going to a Patrick Gallon but I think it might be Gallagher and a Lizzie McGill as her cousins?

No one in our family knows either names Gallon or McGill

Thanks for all your help it is very much appreicated

Kieran

Annie arrived 21 April 1908 - wasn't naturalised that date. Have you checked if she married ?

Do you mean there is another Halloran we've never done before   ;D  ;D

Can see the passenger list for John Halloran aged 27 years - father John Halloran looks like Ralsheenan Clonmel. Had been in the USA 1907. John going to brother Peter Halloran 3243 Sansom Street Philadelphia.

Hi Sandra,

The brick wall has come down Annie applied for a marriage license in Delaware County, Pa.
They were married in 14 08 1918.  No we had done this couple before but never got where they married on when Annie went into the USA.

Would love to work out who these cousins Annie was going to.

The passenger manifest for Annie McKearnon's arrival in 1908 on the Friesland, says:

Going to cousin Patrick GALLON, 1639 South Street, Phila". [Column 18]

Across the next [columns 19 to 24] the clerk writing the manifest has used this spaced top make additional notes about where and to whom and how the passenger is going. For Annie, he has written:
"Lizzie McGill, wife of Pat. Gallon
is ------- ---- ----- ----- for her"

Cheers
