If you could find an exact birth date for Edna, it might help your search.  Have you found obituaries for her siblings, those might mention her  ???

A few details which might help others searching - From an ancestry tree it says Edna passed away Aurora, Arapahoe, Colorado but no date or source.
Might be worth trying to look for an obituary on her father Herbert Lovell Rockwell 1891–1970 Denver Colorado.
Brother Verl H Rockwell 1913–24 December 1972  Goodland, Sherman, Kansas.

Brother Earl (Carl) Rockwell 1910–1976 Goodland, Sherman, Kansas.

Hi Steph,

Here's what I'm seeing.

The 1940 census states Edna was living in Norton, Norton, Kansas in 1935.

1940 census: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VR6Q-26Z

In the 1930 census Edna is living in Norton, Norton, Kansas with parents and siblings.

1930 census: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X7QT-N4N

This would indicate this "Hunt" person was probably also living in Norton, Norton, Kansas during this time period. There was only one "Hunt" family living in Norton, Norton, Kansas in 1930 and they happen to have a son Clarence who is about the same age (3 yrs older) as Edna. In 1935 he would have been  abt. 21 and Edna would have been abt. 18.

"Hunt" 1930 census- Norton, Norton, Kansas: http://www.rootschat.com/links/01kwg/

The Hunt family:

1930 census: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X7QT-Q8V

1920 census: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MFXL-6ZM

1910 census: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:ML48-GL5

I think this might be a trail worth following. I can't find Clarence after that 1930 census?
