Glavesky - Poland/Lithuania origins
« on: Sunday 15 October 17 15:38 BST (UK) »
Joseph Glavesky b.c1867, m.1886 Liverpool, d. 1926 Liverpool.
Father - Michael Glavesky.
Census origins - Poland.

Clement Glavisky b.c1875, m.1898 Liverpool, d.1953 Liverpool.
Father - ?
Census origins - Poland, Lithuania.

Both worked in the sugar refining industry in Liverpool.

I am helping another researcher with this and we have the censuses, BMDs, probates, etc for these and family onward, but we are struggling with finding the places of birth of these gentlemen.

Are there any online records for this area, or useful sources that could be contacted, please ?

I don't like MyHeritage but where they score over others is in the East European family trees. Start a tree with the people you listed and see if there are any matches. You may have to sign up for data/tree subscriptions, but be aware that the default is 'renew subscriptions' even if they offer you free months and you don't think you need to renew yet. Good luck!
