I didn't have time this morning to investigate Dick Dewsbury, I will try to on my next visit. Do you have dates for his life as they would be helpful?

Thank you. I'm working on Henry Dewsbury as 1852-1927.

I came across something that may be interesting in the 1911 census:

We have Henry Dewsbury aged 59 and head of the household at 139 Brighton road, Great Crosby, Number of Schedule 135.
The next page of the census, Number of Schedule 136 we have Richard Dewsbury aged 31 as head, 139 Brighton road Great Crosby, occupation fisherman and working on his own account?

The 1911 census has Henry and Richard in the same house Richard has 2 rooms and Henry has 3 rooms so not a huge house.

Own account for his employment might just mean he works for himself and has a boat.

I hope to get to Crosby again next week.
