Adam at his prime was so popular that contemporary writers mentioned him in their books, he was famous under the nick of "Dockem" (I don't know what that means honestly).

Im trying to find Adam's obituary, pretty sure his death was covered by local Bury papers...I am registered on BritishNewspaperArchives...not quite sure which paper was the biggest local paper in the 1890s in Bury areas???

Bury Times.
No burial for Adam or Martha on Lancashire  Online Parish Clerks website. Bury Parish Church burials for 1890s not on LAN OPC.
Edit. Death was from Lancashire BMD (free site). Has Adam & Martha's marriage registration and children's birth registrations, with maiden name of mother too.

thanks Bury Times is available on BNA, going to check over there...hope it mentions it.
Obituary would have place of burial thats my hope.

so most likely 30 Badger Str doesnt exist anymore...I wonder if his pub Lancashire Wrestler was located at that address.
