Murder in Paisley

According to family stories , my 1st cousin 1x removed Alexander John Monro was attacked with an axe and died in Paisley in November 1981 ..... looking for any newspaper articles relating to the crime. Can anyone help please

Nothing that recent on the newspaper archive but if you try "google newspapers" you can access the Glasgow Herald for 1981.This might involve a lot of browsing!

Well there is a corresponding death in 1981 in Paisley for him.

Have you got a possible date in November to help you with the newpaper searches?
