I have a situation where i cannot extract ZIP file with the help of WinZIP. It gives me an error like:
The archive was empty

What's the problem? What should I do?

Welcome to RootsChat!

Can you ask whoever sent it to you, to send it again?  Tell them the message.

If it's one you zipped yourself then maybe you missed a step.  Happened to me once  ::)

Try another zip program like 7zip - that sometimes works.

Hi

WELCOME to Rootschat!

Some developers actually try very hard to get error messages correctly matching the situation.

[ Admittedly, some do not ]

How about believing the message that the file is actually empty?

What is the actual size of the zip file?
