Don't think that is the correct person as she is in the 1939 register in Erith and Mclean appears to be her married name.

In the 1918 electoral roll for Glasgow Roderick S Mclean ( occ Clerk) is living at 58 Westmoreland Street along with Mrs Margaret McLean and Roderick S McLean jnr (occ Soldier). For some years prior to that Roderick S is listed at 58 Westmoreland Street ( occ Collector). In 1911 he is listed at 78 Westmoreland Street.

Have you explored the possibility that Rose may have gone to the US with one of her siblings?

Rose Mclean, 20, and Grace Mclean, 18, both servants, left Glasgow on the Cameronia on 1 Nov 1913, heading for New York.

Grace B Mclean married John Grunday in New York on 14 Jul 1915.

These may not be the right Rose and Grace Mcleans - there are a surprising number of the right age in the right place! - but might be worth exploring.

There is a Rose Maclean age 18 listed in Cathcart in 1911. No other matches for Maclean against ref number so possibly working as a servant.
That looks like a good shout Ruthhelen as OP has Grace dying as a Grundy.

The New York passenger list for the Cameronia gives next of kin for the two girls as Patrick McLean, but his address is 58 Westmoreland Street, crosshill, Glasgow which matches the address for Roderick and Margaret in the electoral roll.

It also says that they are going to visit their brother Roderick ( think the address is 70 Sixth Ave NY) and are then returning to Glasgow. Don't see anything in Incoming passenger lists and note that Grace married John Grundy in Manhattan in 1915.

Do you have any of the family in 1911 & if so where?

Where did Roderick & Margaret Gillanders both die?

Annie

Both of them died in Glasgow.

Not doing well on SP 1911 so far.

Not helping with Rosina but found this while searching...

Yes - Violet (as she was known) was my great-aunt and indeed married Thomas Smith Cordiner! Hadn't seen this info before though, so thank you!

*Edit* Also, Roderick's daughter Helen/ half-sister of Rosina, who was known as Nell, was mother of one of Thomas' apprentices - Peter Lamont Burnside Borthwick, who appears in the link you sent me :)
