In case you’ve been trying to find a baptism at Enfield around 1745, you won’t find the image online, as the relevant parish register (1729-1769) is missing from Ancestry’s digitisation.

You’ll need to get research done at London Metropolitan Archives (LMA), who hold the original. It’s accessible there on film and is reasonably legible (ref. DRO/004/A/01/008, film X001/072). It’s also indexed on LMA’s own film X102/119, but you might not want to rely on that.

Hi
The marriage gives Joseph as a widower and a witness of William Chalkey and Sarah Appey.
The bride is a spinster.

Thanks Ciderdrinker

What site is that from? Doesn't sound right as Joseph would only be 18

Hello
It's off FindMyPast and it gives the digital image of that marriage.
So if he was only 18 then yes that marriage doesn't look right.
There is a daughter Mary baptised on there d of Joseph 30.9.1759 who is presumably from his first marriage.
Possible first wife Jane buried 6.9.1762
Another daughter Jane 25.9.1757 and mother Jane
