Tansley(basford) and Godber(Arnold) families of Nottingham

I know very little about my grandparents families,  My gran(Godber) born in Arnold but lived in Radford for some time and may have worked Players.
My grandads family seem to have lived in Basford but he worked in the mines in several areas, one I believe was Doncaster.
I would love to know more but as I am a carer on limited funds I find it difficult to do much research.

Thank you for replies.  Yes that is my family and the dates all fit, I know very little about the Godber family apart from they came from Arnold and believe some family is buried in Redhill cemetery, my grandparents had 14 children but only 9 survived.  I just don't know where to go next.
