Filedarrig Birth Record for Charles Brady about 1821

hello again, hope you can help with this one.  Where can I try for the birth of Charles Brady about 1821 in Filedarrig.  Father's name possibly james, no idea about mother.  I have looked on family search etc.   I am estimating year of birth from his death certificate.

He died in December 1891 age being given as 70.  I do wonder if that is correct though as his wife Ann Hampston was born in 1841, although she could have married an older man of course.

Hi,
The death you say in 1891, I saw this and it states his address as 21 Beechams Hill.
This is in Cork City. It's on the north side of the river.
If this is the correct Charles Brady, then he married in St Mary's Cork City on the 9th October 1862.
There appears to be 2 Charles Brady marrying Anne/Nancy Hamston/Hampston.
One Had Children in the place you mentioned earlier.
The other had children in Cork City.
Do you know any of the children's names to make sure I get the correct family, please.
The person who was present at the death was Mary Currane or Cunnane or something like that.
There is about 8 years difference in the births years for the families.

hi maggsie, thank you for the info.  I received the following info from north cathedral, cork
births of James Brady 10/12/1857, Hannah Brady 7/2/1860, Patrick Brady 7/3/1869 and finally Mary Brady 19/8/1871.  Parents Charles Brady and Anne Hampston.

No address details given for James or Hannah but Patrick and Mary were listed as living in Old Market Place which fits in with what I knew about the family.

I think the cathedral may have confused two families as Charles and Anne married in 1862, 5 years after James birth (not unheard of I know).  Also I found a birth for John Brady 1866, parents Charles Brady and Anne Brady (formerly Hampston) in Filedarring.

The other thing that made me query was an apparent 20 year age difference between Charles and Anne.  As you say Charles died in 1891 with age give as 70, giving an approximate year of birth as 1821 whereas I think Ann was born in about 1840.

I am totally confused, so any suggestions gratefully received, thank you

Yes. I have seen the same records.
I see that the John and Patrick born 11the November 1866 were twins.
The Patrick must have died as they named another boy Patrick born 6th March 1869, if not then the first Patrick would have been called by a second name.
