As Robert died without making a will and administration of his goods etc was given to his brother
Would the 3 boys be next of kin even if they were illegitimate but recognised as ‘natural’ sons?
Would they have been entitled to his estate?
Not sure about the law in this respect

I have researched James' life while in Morpeth, NSW, Australia. Had no idea he was born Poole. I have never found a picture of him. Are there any?
